An extremely rare example of a very large Leitz microscope, retailed with the tripod or English foot. the example here is stamped E.Leitz, London on the tube and at the top of the foot. It is also stamped with the number 7 on the back of the rear leg, which may represent a serial number for this form.

In exceptional condition and one of a small handful recorded of this very short lived model.
